Building “Forever”, One Believer at a Time: Thank You To The First “Forever” 100

There’s a moment in building something new when it stops feeling like an idea and starts feeling real.

For us, that moment just happened. We reached our first 100 members of the Forever community.

It’s easy to look at that number and think it’s small. But when you’re creating a new musical from the ground up, 100 real people who chose to show up early mean everything. These aren’t just names on a list. They’re people who felt something and decided to be part of it before the spotlight ever turned on.

That’s how a musical begins. Not with a grand announcement. With belief.

In this vlog, we take a moment to pause and say thank you to those first 100 who are helping lay the foundation of Forever. We talk honestly about where the show is right now, what it takes to build something like this in today’s world, and why the people who show up early are the ones who matter most.
A show doesn’t just appear on Broadway. It grows. It finds its people first.

We’re working toward the Forever 1000, and this moment is a real milestone on that road because every story has a beginning. And this is ours.

Hi everybody, it’s Barry and Gary again. We’re the co-creators of the new musical, “Forever.”

And we wanted to share some wonderful news with you. You know that we have been talking about the “Forever 1000,” which is our goal to get a thousand fans who will sign up for the newsletter and be part of our journey going forward. Well, we hit a milestone.

We have the “Forever 100.” We have 100 folks who have come on board and are involved.

And that may seem like a small number to you, but oh my gosh, to us, that is really significant.

Yes. A lot. It is a lot. It is a lot. Because it shows that people are paying attention. And the more people who pay attention, the more people who will then start paying attention and join the foundation of this new musical, which is what you are. You’re the building blocks. You’re right there at the beginning of this push that we’re doing to move this show to the next level. And we are very appreciative of that. Absolutely. We couldn’t do it without you. So what can you do next? Just spread the word.

You know, if you’ve got two friends and you’re excited about the show, bring them in. Have them sign up. Because, you know, there’s something called, I think it’s called exponential. Yeah. Exponential. Is that the word? So this can grow exponentially, right? If everyone tells four people, five people, then all of a sudden we’re at our thousand. Right. If you tell two friends and they tell two friends, it just grows. I call it a snowball effect because that’s when they talk about rolling a snowball down a hill. And it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. And then you can do your pew again. Pew! There you go. So, actually, I just wanted to thank you for being here at the beginning. Because you folks who are here with us this early are incredibly special.

Because you’re…

I knew you were going to do that. But the thing is that you really are so important to us because a musical these days, you know, doesn’t just start.

It doesn’t just, you know, have a script and a producer takes it, and it goes to Broadway. It just doesn’t work that way. No. And so we’re at the ground floor. Maybe we’re on the second floor, moving toward the second floor. But, you know, it is a long journey. But by connecting with us, you’re telling us that it’s a worthwhile journey.

And that’s very exciting for us. And helpful.

Very helpful. It keeps us moving in the right direction. That’s right.

Having others believe in us helps us believe in ourselves even more. And if you have something to share with us, if you have thoughts about the show… Or thoughts about how to grow the show, meaning to get it to that next level. That’s right. We want to hear from you. We really do. You’ll be hearing from us. We’ll be doing vlogs and behind-the-scenes and newsletters and all kinds of stuff. And we’ll be releasing more music over time. So, you know, you’ll get to know more and more and more about the show. But we really do want to hear from you. And we hope that we do. And thank you again for being a fan, an early fan of Forever, being part of the Forever 100 if you are. And if you’re not, we hope you’ll be part of the Forever 200. 300, 400. That’s right. 1,000. 100,000. Keep going until we go pew!

We really mean pew. Yeah, I think on that note we’ll go.

Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
